Welcome to 2015--you made it! I hope that your year-end celebrations were joyful and memorable in positive ways.
Now that we are returning to our usual routines, it is a good time to take inventory.
As you may be aware, I am not a fan of writing New Year's resolutions. They are not usually realistic, not personalized, and not flexible enough to create allowances for life's surprises.
Instead of creating the resolutions: now is an excellent time to take stock of your position. What do you want for the year? This is not a time for self-castigation, but rather for clarity and compassion. What changes would you like to see--in personal and professional relationships; in finances; in adventures; in hope?
One thing is sure: whatever our goals might be, we are better suited to finding a way to meet them when we take excellent care of ourselves. There are a great many tools that we can use to help us keep perspective and handle, with grace, the numerous stresses of life. Massage and Reiki can help a great deal with self-care. Meditation can help, as well.
As we look to the future, let's ask ourselves a question: How can I make the life that I am living look more like the life I have been hoping for?
Remember that I am always here to offer help and solutions.
